Sugar beet pulp:
Sugar beet pulp is a by-product of sugar beets. The sugar beets are cut into strips and the liquefied sugar is then extracted from these strips. The remaining strips are referred to as ‘wet pulp’. By pressing the strips, a great deal of moisture is removed from the wet pulp.
